An epoch of depraved capitalist individualism
in New Zealand
To begin, here is an extract from the Communist Manifesto at chapter 2:
"I. BOURGEOIS AND PROLETARIANS
'The modern bourgeois society that has sprouted from the ruins
of feudal society has not done away with class antagonisms. It
has but established new classes, new conditions of oppression,
new forms of struggle in place of the old ones. Our epoch, the
epoch of the bourgeoisie, possesses, however, this distinctive
feature: it has simplified the class antagonisms. Society as a
whole is more and more splitting up into two great hostile camps,
into two great classes, directly facing each other: Bourgeoisie
and Proletariat."
Where are two great classes Karl Marx spoke of in his Communist Manifesto of 1848. These days theres seems to be more, for want of a better word, diversity, even a third class? The ordinary worker has arguably sold out to capitalism and become the capitalist. The worker in this day and age, if living in the west, can usually buy into the capitalist private property system. They can purchase real estate. They place themselves in debt when they do this. They become indebted to a mortgagee, or a lender of capital.
To advance materialistically, the worker must enslave themselves into a kind of debt bondage. Of course interest is charged on the loan at a percentage rate. The bank will recieve not only the principal sum owing but also the interest on that sum.
The worker must toil for years, maybe 25 years to pay off the mortgage contract and become freehold. However, there is another way. The worker can become a landlord, yes, remember those filthy aristocrats from the feudal middle ages? The worker becomes a landlord (fiction) and now creates a tenancy pursuant to a contractual agreement. The tenant or tenants now pay off the mortgage debt owing to the bank, lender. Does this seem fair and equitable to you? What if the tenant is ill and on social welfare or old, or both? Their vunerable position is exploited by landlords, as they cannot, because of no fault on their part, work for capital. Of course the landlord, or slumlord, provides housing but at what price? The main objective for the landlord is to have his mortgage to the bank paid off in full.
This is how the New Zealand government allows one citizen to exploit the vunerability of another citizen. The worker has turned capitalist, turned imperalist exploitor. Are there still the two great classes faces each other?
On Resisting imperialism
(general observations)
The self -interested capitalist forgos any rights. The moment they turn their backs on humankind they are behaving in an inhuman manner. The perpetrate violence on society by their greed and accumulation of material assets. Many live far beyond what is essential, and surround themselves with surplus luxury items. Their accumulation of resources and wealth means that others are deprived of those resources. In essence, it is the rich in New Zealand who are truly irresponsible. They commit a direct and indirect form of violence on their fellow citizens. They are ant-collectivist, yet they want help from others to accumulate their wealth to the exclusion of others.
The ruling rich break down social cohesion by behaving in an anti-social way. The very society that sustains them is plundered by them on a daily basis. An irrational illogical drive to obtain material wealth, real estate. At what stage will the rich be satisfied, is there a stage?
Who would protect the rich is they fell victim to crime? Firstly, they rape a social system of its material resources then they want you to help them. They acknowledge that form of collectivism only when it suits their interests. They betray a society, then at the same time expect to be treated as a a member of the very society they have betrayed.
